On August 11, 2007, a few people and I summited Longs Peak!  We started on the trail by 5:15 AM and Jennifer and I (the first of our group) summited by 12:05 PM.  So it took about 7 hours total.  The trail is 7.5 miles so 15 miles round trip.  The weather was perfect!  Not a cloud in the sky until later when we were close.

It was just an amazing experience!  Even though it hurt sometimes (especially going up The Trough), I loved every part of it!  Also, the sky in these pictures really were that blue!
