This hike was completed on August 4, 2007.  The first part of the hike incorporates the Flattop hike but extends another .5 miles.  This hike was done with 7 others mostly from HP.  Hallett's Peak is a 12,713 feet high.  The trailhead started at 9,475 feet which makes an elevation gain of 3,238 feet.
